This was a huge project I planned, designed, and executed while with NTD Architects.
Under the Leadership of CEO and PIC Jon Baker, Sr. Project Manager Bruce Thomas, and Specifications/QA/QC Guru Jay Whisenant, I served as Client Liaison / Planner / User Group Facilitator / Designer / Project Leader.
After the planning and design were pretty much locked down, I continued the process to lead a five member Production Team as well as all Engineering Consultants through Design Development into CD's and DSA Submittal.
The last thing I did before I left the Firm was to deliver three well-coordinated 3-volume 95% Construction Document sets to DSA.
In retrospect, I'm convinced that it was because I was given the freedom and support to take risks, and because I received complete leadership support for doing so, that it turned out I was able to learn a great deal and simultaeously succeed with a great project.
'Turns out it was a cool-enough-project that the First Year Seniors dubbed it the "Emerald City."
...Hate to say the Project Narrative and Imagery for this project are still under web construction, but for now, below you will find a current aerial view of the completed project, portions of the master plan presentation booklets, and a few construction photos taken several years ago.
I hope to get out to the site soon and snag some photos of the way things turned out. I'll include those when completed.
