Da Mariana is a groceries store located in Italy.
The problem was that the store had not visibility, no image that its customers could use to identify it, but the person behind it. And even the ones that would do their grocerie shopping at the store, not too many knew the person.
Why not let everyone know who Mariana is?
A traditional format of the logo accompanied by a welcoming slogan "sapori per tutti gusti" meaning "food for every tastes"
I really wanted to give personality to everything that comes out of the store, and because I can't print on the products themselves, I can print on the packaging the products get put in.
Also, to add more value to the hall visual identity and build memorability, the print design would have different food products printed on the packaging paper and bags.
The color combinations have been setup in such a way that the design elements, the logo and the food icons, do not compeat with each other. This way, because of the white background, the logo stands out and the kaki icons help with the visual experience (adds to the information) , sustaining the logo.
