The Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia is a public organisation that supports science and research. It was established in March 2019, with the aim of providing funding and creating an enabling environment for the continuous development of scientific and research activities in the Republic of Serbia, which are in turn the conditions necessary for the progress of a knowledge-based society.
PROMIS - The first Program funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia is the Program for excellent projects of young researchers (PROMIS). The program aims to support ideas from all fields of science and to involve young scientists in scientific research.
The IDEAS Program supports basic and applied research in all scientific fields. The Program goal is financing Projects based on outstanding ideas that can have in the future, a significant impact on the development of science and research, economy and/or society as a whole.
