Started in 2014 and inspired by the work of Joseph Champion, particularly the “Set Chancery Alphabet”, Luder Pro is a contemporary approach to the Schwabacher style. Vibrant and much closer to formal handwriting, Luder Pro borrows inspiration from the Bastarda and Rotunda types, frequently used in chancellery clerks across European countries. With more than sixteen hundred glyphs, Luder Pro supports over 290 languages, including an extended character set for minor African languages, Greek, and Cyrillic, among dozens of typographic goodies.
