Bog Oak Utility Knife

Although this project is quite old now (this was my 3rd fully finished knife), it is still an important one. My Bog Oak utility knife was created with the pretences of trying new techniques, the main one being a curved plunge line.

The piece challenged my making skills as marked a real turn in my knife making. At this time I really started to refine my designs into sleek and elegant, yet still fully funtional pieces. This knife was a first for me as I hadn't before created a curved plunge line (the line that starts the bevel for the knife edge), nor had I used bog oak or mosaic pins at this point. I put a lot of hours and attention to detail into this piece and I feel that it shows.

Created using an angle grinder, cordless drill, vaious files and lots of sandpaper.
