Under Cyber Waters começou como moodboard e evoluiu para uma composição fotográfica que tem por base o Cyberpunk, mas que não se limita ao mesmo. Os elementos desta composição são, ao mesmo tempo que complementares, contrastantes pois temos elementos da natureza como as folhas e alforrecas, e elementos do Cyberpunk, que por si só é um conceito artificial.
Com este trabalho quis transmitir o sentimento de estar sobrecarregado e dormentes, ao ponto de parecer que estamos debaixo de água, e ao mesmo tempo sentir que estamos a ser desmontados peça por peça, pelo simples facto de toda a gente querer muitas e diferentes coisas de nós. É uma metáfora que representa a sociedade em que vivemos, e aquilo que tentamos alcançar à custa da nossa humanidade.
Under Cyber Waters started as a moodboard and evolved to a photographic composition that has Cyberpunk as a foundation, but is not limited to it. The graphic elements of this composition are as complementary as opposed, on one side we have natural elements, like the jellyfishes and the leaves, and on the other we have the Cyberpunk elements, that is, just by itself, artificial.
With this project I wanted to communicate the feeling of being overwhelmed and numb, to the point of feeling like you are underwater, and at the same time being disassembled part by part, by the simple fact that everyone wants a lot and different things from us. It is a metaphor that represents the environment/ society we live in, and what we try to achieve at the cost of our humanity.
