FONT USE
I choose Hoefler & Co. because i love simplicity and a clean image & Gotham, the font, gives me that.
To this project, i had to find a theme to work with, since i was in Digital Arts & Multimedia, I decided to do a book of quotes of a serie called "Master's Sun".
To the website, i decided to make a place where people can update their favourite quotes, books, movies & series. Since i had to promove the font, i make a window where people can visit & buy it on Hoefler & Co. website, directly.
The Book
Book cover in vector. Working with different sizes and weights in the same family of Gotham font, also using black and white as the main colors of this book.
The pages. A preview of the inside of the book. Since it's a book with quotes of a series, my idea was making two types of pages, before reading the quote itself, it shows a crop of the following quote. Giving a cut and different language to the book.
The Website
The Opening page or Menu page. Which website doesn't have an opening page? To change a bit and giving an interactive propose to the website, the opening page is filled with 7 columns with the different themes that the website have.
Log In: Everyone that visits the website, can make their own use of it & make their own list of favorites.
Quotes: List of quotes that people likes. Inspirations.
Books: List of books that already read, is reading & wants to read. Also all the ranking & Info about the books.
Movies: List of movies that already watched & wish to watch in the near future. Also all the ranking & Info about the movies.
Series: List of series that are completed, those series that is watching & which episode is in. Also all the ranking & Info about the series.
Each page opens automatically when the person clicks in the collumn they want, and this is the way it looks. One is full opened and the others look closed.
People can make log in with their email or their facebook or twitter account.
Font: We had to promove the font & foundry we used in this work, so this page gives the link of the foundry website & if people liked the font would buy it and use it as well.
