The Between Dice Designs
Fan project for one of my favorite TTRPGs (Tabletop Role Playing Game) - "The Between" by Jason Cordova. It is gothic horror set in Victorian London, full of monsters and criminals, in which players portray playbooks inspired by archetypes found in the genre.
By patterns I tried to capture the vibe of every Playbook in game.
The Vessel

an outsider from behind Big Water struggling with a strange curse

an upper-class member who served the British Empire and is now facing ghosts
from the past

skilled and effective servant with a very soft spot for their employer
The Mother
a brilliant surgeon trying to soothe their lost love with the search for creating life
The Orphan
being created by The Mother, without past or memory, on a quest to find himself
The Undeniable
immortal human blessed with striking beauty
The Unquiet
ghost of a long-dead monster hunter returns for revenge
The Legacy
offspring of a monster hunter family to face The Beast, which hunts their bloodline
The Martian
an alien exiled royal, the only survivor of an invasion on their home planet
