Design in Monuments is a fictional initiative by the National Heritage Board of Singapore,
aimed at educating the public on the various monuments around the country
whilst portraying the cultural and historical significances.
This initiative is made tangible in the form of a series of publications,
which specialise in the design significances and influences of each monument,
which are often under-appreciated.
The theme for the first (and only attempted) series is Places of Worship.
This series comprises of 3 issues;
Churches & Cathedrals,
Mosques
and Temples.
