Habitat for Humanity

Participated in the design and completed construction documents for this single family home. The project was unique in that the lot purchased by Habitat for Humanity was very narrow adding some design constraints. My participation in the project extended beyond structural engineering. I also helped with the designs required by other trades, creating a full set of construction drawings. This was also a project I modeled in Revit structure. Construction is set to begin as soon as a qualifying family is located.

Completed construction documents for the renovation/addition to this single family home in coordination with another volunteering engineer and habitats project manager. Participated in the demolition of the existing structure with volunteers from Messiah College. Due to a pushed schedule much of the addition was completed by subcontractors. However, I was able to participate in much of the finish work with volunteers and the homes future owners.
