This is the final project from my VCD2: Typography course. The goal of this project was to research the history and design of a chosen typeface and to present this through a type specimen book. I was responsible for researching the content of my chosen typeface, writing the body text and designing the layout of my "Garamond" book. I have always loved the Garamond typeface and enjoyed researching it and understanding its deep history in the design industry. Garamond is known as a print typeface, commonly used in body text for magazines and novels. With this, I decided to use the Garamond letters themselves as design elements and work with the intricate design of the letters.
