The Giving Equation

The Giving Equation is a simple comparison site for charities; however there are a few things that differentiate it from other comparison sites. The charities that are recommended for you are based on how much money you wish to donate, and the benefit derived by the charity for that amount. This helps smaller amounts of money make a larger difference in the world.

The website can be broken down into categories, making it easier to find the charity that is right for you. It will also have a breakdown, showing what the money will be used for and there will be a blog that can be updated by the charities to show progression. In the event of a natural disaster or when a country is in urgent crisis, an aid symbol will appear on the web banner to provide easy access for people looking to donate.

Ultimately this will give donors more confidence in where their money goes when they donate, due to the transparency of what happens to their donations from start to finish. It will also give the smaller charities an easier way of showing what they do on a larger platform. This is an effective and simple way to generate more donations, whilst the donors can feel comfortable with their contributions.
