Out and about on the hills and dales

You can't beat Derbyshire for its sheer variety of Hillwalking - from the gentle rolling White Peak  ambles around Hartington or Bakewell, to the dramatic, moody and appropriately named 'Dark Peak' beasties like Mam Tor.

I love all areas of the Derbyshire Peak District and these are a few pictures I have managed to take over the last few years as I find my way across the landscape with the family.

I hope you enjoy them, and if you think you would like some to adorn your walls, please do drop me a line on matttrow71@yahoo.com

Trickling, babbling  brooks half-way down the cosy Dovedale Valley
FInally the little baskets on the end of the walking poles got some proper usage!

The gorgeous Longshaw Estate in the long-lying Snow-falls we had back in Spring 2015.
Absolutley crisp and calm, the Peaks at their finest!
