Flourishing Play Therapy Branding

Claire from Flourishing Play Therapy asked me to design a new logo for her practice. The only real guidance for the logo was that she wanted it to show growth but other than that, I could design freely.

We eventually settled on this logo that shows a little anxious "i" flourishing into a confident, growing flower, linking the "i" in "Flourishing" with the "l" in "play". I felt that it was important for the logo to have a balance between child-like and professional because even though the therapy is for children, the logo has to appeal to the child's grown-ups, so the font used is clear and concise but the florals are playful.

I gave Claire a few playful colour ways to choose from and she felt drawn to the green and yellow but the other colours can be used interchangeably for the rest of her branding.

Included were alternative logos and little icons to use on her website to illustrate the different services Flourishing Play Therapy offers.

Claire was happy with the website she designed herself but to show how the assets could be used, see below for a mock up of a landing page.
