Graphic designers can look in multiple places to find ideas for their artwork. Some places are the outdoors, the city, and even businesses for logo ideas. Some could be inspired by the work done by a business executive to make the world better; another could be that person’s love of the outdoors as inspiration to explore. Lastly, someone could draw inspiration from a family member or loved one to make something that pleases them. One advantage of the first option is that a company would already have a logo made for it (usually), so you could make different variations easily. Also, if you are inspired by the company or leader you are more inclined to do your best and make a great piece of art. One disadvantage would be the limitations of possibilities for a design for a company that already has an idea of what they want their branding image to look like. For the second option, the amount of places you could go to make beautiful artwork is a huge advantage. While still being able to brainstorm different ideas to make a cool graphic image of the outdoors is an advantage as well. One disadvantage of this is that it could take some time and money to travel to the optimal location for your artwork. Finally, the last image provides you motivation to make a great artwork for a person you care about. It also gives easy access to pictures of chosen person, and makes it easier to complete the photo collection process. One disadvantage would be having to make the art the way the receiver wants it to be which could limit your creativity.
