Rain is something you can't plan, but donation - you can!
With this poster, I wanted to encourage potential blood donors to plan their donations ahead, and not to wait until "the right time" to start saving lives.
Don't forget your keys, and plan a donation
Planning a donation is not less important than not forgetting your keys in the morning. With this poster, I wanted to set a mental reminder "to plan" and put these 2 actions in comparison in people's minds.
Make a wish to donate for the year ahead!
Blood donation is a celebration of life. 6 candles on the cake mean the quantity of whole blood donations you are allowed to do in 1 year to avoid health issues.
Turn donation into a sweet tradition
Blood donation is about sharing. With this poster, I wanted to show that behind every donation are multiple saved lives, and given chances. Why wouldn't you turn it into a great tradition? To save lives! What a beautiful thing to do.
We have the same blood
In this poster, I used the motive of a part of a Ukrainian traditional national costume "vyshyvana sorochka", embroidered shirt or dress. To make Ukrainians think of each other even more. To show the importance of representing blood donation as a cultural norm.
