THROUGH THE BOX
This photo project is realized in the district Milano Bicocca located in the north-eastern suburbs of the city; a neighborhood, thanks to a twenty-year redevelopment project, changed its appearance and function: from industrial place (Borgo Pirelli) to a new hub developed on technological and university pole which aims to became a new unifying
center of modern life in Milan.
The project wants to see, with a critical eye, large buildings that radically change the perception of the soul of district. You have the feeling of being in places where the
majesty of the architecture is favored at the expense of the community life of the
citizens of the district: people find space through forced passes between
facades and bridges that create a necessary step towards walls and barrier.
