My goal to create repetition among the shoelace creating a lead for the eyes following the direction of the shoelaces which completes the composition. 

I chose this object to be my composition because I was staring at my shoes for a long time and my eyes were following the patterns of the shoelace, it strike my interest and therefore I picked up my camera. I wouldn't shoot this object if i have a second chance since a shoe is really boring and everyone has seen a shoe before. I would choose and better line if i have a second chance creating a better story for a line photography.

I would say my photo has a average composition because the exposure is pretty good but I should try to shoot in a different angle and make the movement of the line longer.
