Paul Winter, six time Grammy winner, asked The Phoenix Group to create a documentary about the Winter Solstice and The 30th Annual Winter Solstice Celebration event at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York City. This is the 2nd largest cathedral in the world, spanning the length of 2 football fields, and is 12 stories high.

 

Using only available light and no cameras on stage, the following sample was shot using Canon's EOS 5D Mark II and 1D Mark IV cameras. As a creative partner to Canon USA, we create a large body of content on the Canon Digital Learning Center and have been working with this DSLR video technology from the beginning.
