BRIEF: The design and production of the BA(Hons) Textile Design third year catalogue 2014.
The catalogue is distributed at New Designers and sent by the course and students to clients and industry partners, with its primary purpose to serve as a self-promotional tool.

SIZE AND PAPER
A5/ newsprint. 
Newsprint is a delicate lightly textured paper which is not bright white, with a nice printing finish.  
slip cover dark grey card, making the colour inside stand out.

We chose to vary the size of the secondary picture and use a diving white line to reflect the theme of the front cover.
The text box alternates randomly from the left or right to reduce the sense of repetitiveness and enhance the idea of individuality and uniqueness.
 
 
Full bleed images are used to best showcase the beauty of the work and make it take centre stage. Only two images are shown for each designer to simplify the publication.
