Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators

Rebranding the Azerbaijan State Theatre for Young Spectators

On 15 March 927, the Baku Children's Theatre was established on the basis of creative amateur drama groups of pioneers and schoolchildren. On 18 July 1936, by an order of the People's Commissariat for Education of Azerbaijan, the Baku Children's Theatre was renamed "Azerbaijan State Youth Auditorium Theatre", and named after Maksim Gorkin. In 1979 the Azerbaijan State Theatre of the Young Spectator, which rendered exemplary service to its spectators and played an important role in the aesthetic education and patriotic spirit of the younger generation, was awarded the highest award, the Order of Honor, and in 1978 it was conferred the title of Laureate of the Republic Prize of Lenin Komsomol. In 1989 the Azerbaijan State Theatre of Youth Theater welcomed its spectators in a new building. As always, the Theatre stayed true to its traditions and covered a wider audience with more and more interesting performances with every new season.
As in any sphere, there is a need for renewal in this field. I have tried to make it more modern.
