ANJAR Theater is prominently located in Kalupur, Ahmedabad. It was initially constructed in the year 2002 by Jakariya Seth, with its inaugural screening featuring the film 'Gautam Govinda' in 2002. Since its establishment, the theater has been under the management of Faruq bhai, with assistance from Imamuddin Shekih. Regrettably, the theater has fallen into a state of disrepair, having surpassed its former days of glory. Despite this, it continues to attract a rowdy audience. The theater currently operates two shows daily: a morning show featuring obscure old films (priced at Rs. 30) and an evening show catering to the audience's preference for contemporary cinema (priced at Rs. 50)."
