FAUNA

Fauna™ is an audiovisual production company based in Buenos Aires and Mexico.

When designing Fauna's visual identity, we wanted to avoid a literal interpretation of the word "Fauna" and instead focus on a concept that is essential to the world of moving images: the frame. We based this on the idea that in cinema, television, and photography, the viewer's perspective is always shaped by the frame that the director uses for their work. As a result, we created a logo that, at first glance, resembles an eye. However, just as with cinema, we only see what the screen allows us to see, and we don't know exactly what lies beyond the frame.

The concept of framing is also represented through typography, which has been altered at the corners with 90-degree angles, further enhancing the idea of cinematic framing. In this context, the letter "U" serves as a graphic element to frame the works produced by the company.

To further connect the logo with the world of television and screens, we gave it a vintage aesthetic while keeping it contemporary.

These design choices reflect Fauna's position as the ultimate authority in its own projects, presenting them from its own unique perspective and sharing them with its own way of seeing things.
