Redesigning the ID of an icon – Lebron James logo concept
In 2010, National Basketball Association’s superstar Lebron James decided to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign with the Miami Heat. In addition to changing teams Lebron also decided to change his jersey number from “23″ to “6″. The jersey number change conflicted with the existing logo Nike designed for the Lebron James brand. A new logo was needed to reflect the jersey number change.

Developed a visual system that is expressive, efficient and simple to use. Created global brand guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment across all applications. Refreshed the logo, altering the brand symbol to make it more fluid with a finely crafted quality.
