Branding (Amalgamation

The Branding projects were something that I was used to but at the same time, it still felt difficult to me. I have experience making logos and business cards from my past school, but that was the only similar experience I had so far. I didn't have enough time to finish the deliverable, which I also had most struggle time too. The deliverable was supposed to be a poster, similar to how I made the Opera poster. Another difficulty was that I need to work on sever things at the same time. I'm weak at multitasking, and I have a hard time focusing on the project.
First, we had to come up with any kind of business idea with a combination of two words from the word list that was given. Within the ideas, we also had to sketch thumbnails for the logos. As you can see, I had a combination of veterinarian ghost, writer tiger, farmer bee, UFO pilot, tailor wizard, and more. I went along with the "Writer Tiger", naming the company name as "Tiger Tale". I did have a little bit difficult time with the logos because I couldn't figure out how to simplify the tiger's pattern.
As I worked on simplifying the tiger's pattern for the logos, I also had to make the mood board for what kind of business I'm branding. My "Tiger Tale" business was about the children's books publisher who help authors publish and edit their books. I wanted children-friendly and remind of the tiger at the same time.
I sketched the rough sketch of the logos, cleared the designs, and picked one to work on. I choose to work on the first rough sketch. I use Illustrator to make a logo right away.
While I was working on the logos, I also had to draw thumbnails for the pattern that can be used in my business cards or the deliverable. There isn't much because most of my focus was on the logos.
The reason I wasn't satisfied with my patterns was that my patterns does not look like the pattern, especially with the last rough sketch. I used the first rough sketch of the pattern back of the business card and for the last rough sketch, I used it as the unfinished deliverable.
The business card was the most smoothly I worked on. Making up the fake information wasn't easy, but I already had a design in my mind. I sketched a little and worked on the Illustrator right aways.
