Exurgo Gameboard

Exurgo (Latin meaning to rise) is a conceptual game board that takes aspects of checkers and chess. The graphics are Mesoamerican-based and use four animal characters panther, owl, gorilla, and alligator. Each animal correspondingly represent speed, wisdom, strength and stealth. Players pick the animal of their choice and try to "rise" among the rest and "eat" all the other players in the process. This version of the game is a high-end model made of wood. 

As can be seen above, we laser-etched the graphics and cut all the pieces to create this special model. Each of the pieces and sections of the board were hand-dyed to color coordinate the kingdoms.
