My project is called luminescent chess. The purpose of this board is to serve a multitude of things. The main purpose is to make chess more fun! this board may also be used as a cool party game because of its aesthetic. The way that it works is that you press the white button to turn on the rainbow LED's for just a classic and enjoyable game. There is a second button on the side that when pressed, allows the LED's to switch between the colors green and blue.

User testing in this project was very enjoyable! I tested 4 people and got lots of great feedback on how I could improve my design. A couple of consistent points that were made through all of my user testers were that I should add another button so that I could have one for each player so that it would not be such a pain to reach around the whole board. The second main point was that the board was a little too tall and so it was a bit difficult to move the pieces at times without tipping over other pieces. A good part of the feedback that I recieved was that my pieces were easily distinguishable and everyone liked the unique color.
