High detail model of M4A1 inspired rifle design using Solidworks.   

This is intended to be a demonstration of my reverse engineering abilities.  Starting with an existing part, all dimensions were accurately reconstructed using calipers.  This model is designed to be a mockup for an airsoft product.

These renderings are the end result of a few days of experimenting with Photoview in Solidworks 2013.  Concept is based off the existing M4A1 but some experimental weight saving geometries have been added.  I had difficulty rendering the emissitivity and refraction pattern of the glass, perhaps a post processing solution exists.
