This infographic reflects the nostalgic themes of the traditional cross stitch patterns that this company creates and uses in their kits. Floral borders, stitched alphabets, and long frames all intend to remind the viewer of cross stitch samplers from the 19th and 20th centuries. The name New Creation Cross Stitch, while pointing to the new life found in Christ, also communicates the theme of bringing the lost art of cross stitch samplers back into practice. The combination of stitched and flat illustrations in the infographic weaves old with new, supporting the company's brand and message.
Steps:
1. Place fabric into embroidery hoop
2. Separate the floss into single strands and thread the needle
3. Make the first row of hatches, moving left to right and bottom to top
4. Complete the X's by stitching right to left, bottom to top
5. Wrap the finished cross stitch around a board, secure and frame
