The End of Da Bao

The End of Da bao (takeaway)

Da Bao or “the take-away act” is henceforth banned in Singapore. It is the end of da bao as we know it.

According to latest statistics, the amount of waste that Singapore produces is staggering. As crazy as it was,
the ban on chewing gum worked; Singaporeans kicked the gum habit and cinema seats were suddenly clean again. If we do indeed live in a land of extreme measures, would it take an accident caused by plastic or Styrofoam to make Singaporeans more aware of the devastating effects these materials have on Mother Earth?

How would the government react? Is there an immediate need for a “Da Bao Prohibition”?
