Make a house a home
This brief examines ways of printing my patterns onto a variety of materials so that physical examples of household items are formed. It embodies the significance of the arts and crafts movement, bringing a ‘man made’ aesthetic of traditional ornamental design into a contemporary and very much digital environment. In so allowing my handcrafted designs to be developed further using modernised process such as digital fabric printing and silkscreen.
