For my Typography II class we were assigned a project to create posters for an event that UMass Lowell was hosting. 

I started the project by selecting a color palette for the project. I chose CMYK since those are the colors that designers use to print. I also added screen tones to the design as they are commonly used in black and white art to add texture.

After editing some aspects of the poster and changing things around, as suggested by my peers and professor, i ended up with the following and final two designs.
