The idea of the Grind stool is based on the concept of sustainability.
The Grind stool is divided into two portions, the seat and the legs.
The seat of the Grind stool is inspired by the skateboard which is known for being robust, sturdy and durable. The seat is able to support a person's weight even though it is slim.
The design of the legs of the Grind stool challenges conventional wisdom that a regular stool needs 3 or more legs to stand. This design is unique in that it only requires 2 legs.
By introducing ideas like recycling, this concept has been further developed with the aim of educating the younger generation about sustainability.
