The client came with a request to develop a corporate identity for a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with a menu by renowned chef Alexey Zimin and a ready-made name "Zimaleto". The restaurant is located in a business-class housing estate on Kutuzovsky Avenue, with panoramic windows overlooking the forest and a river flowing nearby. The place is conceived as a universal family restaurant with a seasonal cuisine, where you can have a delicious meal with your family, meet for a business meeting or simply have your favourite dishes delivered to your home. 

The idea of diversity, expressed through a modular chequered grid and a pattern, lies at the heart of the identity concept. The logo in two languages in four lines also resonates with the image of a chequered tablecloth from traditional Italian restaurants.

For the design of the communications, we suggested four fonts to support the idea of diversity, and 2 basic colours: blue to symbolise winter and green to symbolise summer. The layout makes use of large photos and varied typography. The menu is vertical, and it also reflects seasonality with blue or green cells. 

The restaurant is currently under construction, but we hope to visit it soon.
