ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Autism is "a developmental syndrome significantly impacting a child's academic achievement, frequently obvious before age three, that severely impairs nonverbal and verbal communication and social interaction," as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. (IDEA). This may be improved upon and treated over time. The research's objective is to produce an animated film that conveys a variety of feelings, such as happiness, sadness, rage, frustration, and laughter. Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) could be a successful therapy for those who have cognitive impairments. Through pictures and facial expressions, an autistic youngster can learn about empathy, according to different studies, research, and experiments. In therapy, the therapist posts pictures of various emotions on the wall, and the kid is instructed to follow each feeling as they manifest themselves. They also applied the same expression to the picture. My goal with this project is to help people better understand and avoid confusion by giving them personalized animated films and images of their own facial expressions. It is to make sure that the child is able to express themselves toward various actions such as bullying in the schools and to give back the same empathy to other people while communicating.
DESIGN SOLUTION:
For that, I have designed an animated mascot called Candy, which will be customizable according to the consumer's need. ABOUT CANDY: Candy is the mascot for the Joy Program. I've made her in a way that the doctor or the psychiatrist will give to the customer. It will be transferred to the device folder named “joy”. She’ll be showing various emotions such as:
● Happy face
● Sad face
● Crying face
● Suprised face
● Angry face and so on.
Hopefully, this approach will help when communicating

About the Mascot:
The mascot named Candy is basically a kind of communicator or the expresser for the autistic child. Through Candy, the child expresses themselves to the other child or the person. I have chosen a kid mascot so that child could relate to her.
