The building called “Hotel London” was built in 1876 as a hotel which was the one of the best one by that time in Europe. Despite the historical value of the building it’s a private property and there are ordinary apartments inside and the door of the hallway is always locked.

People always want to get inside for the photos or just to take a look of that amazing interior but the local residents of the building strictly guard the entrance from visitors, like me.

Photos were taken in 2020 when people were almost not leaving their houses so I was waiting for a while for someone to let me into the building. Finally, “someone” appeared and the Glovo courier didn’t even ask me why I was following him into the building. : )
