I had always loved walking in the woods. But today it was somewhat different: a thick fog had descended upon the forest.

At first, I paid it no mind and continued on my way. But as the mist grew thicker the trees, which I had always known so well, disappeared into the fog.
The fog transformed the landscape, making it almost unrecognizable but it had given me a new perspective on the forest.
The mist had transformed the familiar into something strange and mysterious, and I felt as though I was seeing it for the first time. It forced me to experience the forest in a new and unexpected way.
