Regarding the chaos of the epidemic and the rise of popularity for online shopping. The retail design industry demands immediate radical paradigms to adapt to the current situation. Therefore, this year’s retail design project theme, “Radical Ism’s” challenges us to design a retail space for out self-established company, aid by installing art from avant-garde art movement of the recent past tocurate radical approaches in retail design.

Our team uses a radical approach of integrating pop art and eco art (two extremes) to generate a hybrid retail space of plastic up-cycling factory, art galleries, 3D printing face-mask workshop and cafe bookstore. In which these spaces harmonise together to create a holistic unmatched retail experience. Furthermore, the retail space is a meaning space to help people acknowledge the process and importance of plastic up-cycling. Fulfilling there responsibility as a global citizens, in order to tackle the severe social problem of plastic pollution.
01  Spatial Experience Arrangement
The idea of the spatial arrangement is to integrate an upcycling plastic facility into a series of art gallery spaces that exhibits Eco art pieces. While the upcycled plastics are processed and transformed into spools of filaments, being transferred to the basement 3d printing workshop for visitors to purchase and use for 3d printing custom-fit face mask .
