For all students the topic is 'border crossing'. Every class has its own approch to the topic and its own direction towards the medium. Right at the outset we googled 'border crossing'. The hits are possiblities to find a personal focus.

Most of the hits have a focus in the social field of society, abuse of drugs, medicine and men. Fates, dramas and similar came up too. Besides, there is the article about the American General, commanding the International Assistance Force (ISAF).

The border he is crossing, according to the article, is the consideration of negotiation with the Taliban.

For the first time, a negotiation with the enemy is the plan.

This is the basis of my concept.

My basic idea concentrates on visualizing the data, which accumulated since the beginning of the war in 2001.

And that's quite a few.

I came up with four prints, each with a different focus.
