Drawings and completed works investigating the subtle 'voice' resonating from earth pigments.
After receiving permission from an Aboriginal elder, I used hand-ground pigments exploring Aboriginal sites and ceremonial, mystical qualities, during an Arts Queensland Grant and Residency. (Australia) My experience was transformative and nourishing and gave me 'Mother' support and a respect. Previously I had struggled with sanity, but then, found belonging.
