Illustration and art direction of a Magazine Advert for Compaz Ariano Suassuna.

The Art direction and the Illustration were inspired on the armorial movement, which emerged in the 1970s in Brazil. It was an artistic-cultural trend that aimed to value the popular arts of Northeastern Brazil.

The central goal of this movement was to create a unique Brazilian art based on popular roots. Conceived by the writer from Paraíba, Ariano Suassuna, who gives his name to the building of Compaz, this manifestation encompassed literature, music, dance, theater, visual arts, architecture, cinema, and more.
