Love is the strongest and boldest emotion that one can feel and express, it is something that engulfs and empowers the recipient to their core. This thus also brings up the question of what happens when the love received is not the love we want? A powerful force love is, that if it can empower, it can also destroy and hollow you out; reduce you to a shell of your former self sapping away at your will, at your hope as you try, try to deny it. But alas one sided forbidden love is like sting of scorpion, searing, destructive and most importantly ever-present, a curse born out of love, an unforgiveable.

Worked on this project inspired by the work of Guru Rabindranath Tagore, specifically the character of Charulata and his muse Kadambari Devi. This project was born out of a wish to collaborate between me and Ananya Hazra but was given shape by the guidance by Chitralekha Gupta, who definitely was the heart of this project.
