My family is Canadian, my siblings and I being the 4th generation. Needless to say, we’re fairly far removed from my father’s British and my mother’s Ukranian heritage. That is, with the primary exception of my mother who practices traditional Ukranian Psyanky (egg decorating), creating intricate patterns using wax and dyes. 

 

Through merging traditional English monograms and crests with traditional Ukranian pysanky, I’ve created an identity system for my immediate family (parents and siblings). It's a series of unique crests and pictograms create a visual brand not for professional or corporate purposes, but for the sole reason of representing each of the seven family members and their traits.
