Student Project Brief : There is a Turkish fest in India to promote their tourism and show their culture to Indians. A fashion show will also be a part of that fest. I designed a dramatic runway and space to stage the collection “Timeless Simplicity” by the Turkish designer, Gonul Paksoy.

 

I designed the ramp in such a way that it enhanced the interaction between the models and the garments with the audience. The arrangement for the seating of the audience and the photographers was made. I worked on directing the flow of people into and out of the space. The backdrop, runway, lighting  and the ambience of the show was done keeping in mind the culture, customs, beliefs and traditions of Turkey.
