What follows below is the site map, wire frame and website mock-up for my personal website, which I hope to have up and running by end of May (after finals and all class projects have been concluded).
Site Map.
The idea here is that my logo will be animated and it will stream in from left to right and then become static in it's last position on the site. The ovals, circles below were made like this intentionally to mimic the artist's palette in a way. Each of them slowly fade in and once they've become 100%, the jQuery slideshow would begin in the large circle and slowly the slideshow would show my various works. The banner ads have a place on the top and as you will see, the ads can be placed on all following pages to the left as well, since I don't need all the space afforded to me on the 4 column grid that I used for this site.
This is the final mock-up of the site. Many said that I should make the background plain white so that it does not interfere with the thumbnail images of my work that I am showing in the site. It was also pointed out to me that my logo, currently is too close to the edge and hence I should bring it further in onto the site, which I agree and I thought it might be risky where I had placed it, but wasn't entirely sure as it would depend on which device a person was viewing it.
The arrows are for the user to slide through the images that I have uploaded (in this case 8 pages of a square brochure for Revive Medical NY). However, the slideshow would play automatically anyway even if the user doesn't click on one of the arrows. The arrows are simply there to give the viewer a level of control over which image they'd like to view.
