This is the site map, wire frame and website re-design for a state run agency for the State of Wisconsin.  Their website needs a lot of help.  If I thought that MIT's was bad, this hurts my eyes.  Same format as the previous ones (Site Maps [this site also had a lot of content and so there are two site map pages], Wire Frames and Website Re-design Mock Ups).  If you'd like to see what their website looks like now, it can be found at: http://www.wrdaonline.org/

Again, as in with MIT CAVS, I wanted to organize the site better and have the user follow a familiar pattern as he/ she navigates through their site.  I had changed their logo, but my professor was not too happy with the typeface and then so we both agreed to solve the problem by just using their logo, which, incidentally, went well with the color theme I'd chosen for them.
From here on out are the website re-design mock-ups and we removed the banner ads on top, as it was felt that the empty space up above is prevalent enough to be used for banner ads without placing them there - that is if they decide to place banner ads there and they don't necessarily have to be advertisements.  The ad space up above could be banners advertising key events that are occurring in the State of Wisconsin.
Students and the professor as well as our guest critics agreed that I should make the menu tabs again a bit more contrast-driven.  There was already a dark red gradient used on the menus and so I went back and solved that problem by instituted a blue gradient for the active tabs.  Still works with the overall theme and in a subtle manner pays tribute to the American Flag with the use of our main colors: Red, White and Blue.
