When pressed by my lecturer Alex for a project idea, I had no other choice- coffee is on my mind all day, and I needed one that morning. It wasn't until around a week that I realised that Graphic Design and Coffee are birds of a feather, and I immediatley set out to prove it.
My good friend Ben had been working at a local coffee house in the SA1, so I called him up and the manager invited me down before opening hours. I took my camera and my model, Laura, but we wound up enjoying ourselves too much in their friendly atmosphere to get any work done!
The premise of my self assigned brief was that the Americano Coffee House was launching a range of instant coffee, and had drafted me in to design the packaging and some posters to go along with the launch.
