Brief
Designing a print collateral campaign for MK social, a phone app for a music channel on DSTV. This app connects the user with info, friends, music, events, bands and musicians. The print collateral had to include a logo design, brochure, posters, badges, a promotional item and an app interface design. The collateral had to be build around the following concepts - FML, LOL, OMG and WDF. The project had to be executed in Afrikaans, therefore the acronyms had to be adapted to Afrikaans. The target market had to be generation Y in South Africa (16-24 years old).
 
Concept
MK wants to know, what the target market, thinks, says, listens and watch, encouraging them to get connected and use the app. Listen: Vote here for your favourite songs and music videos and make your own playlists. Share your playlists and listen to other users playlists. Share your love for music because sharing is caring. Says: Leave your opinion on facebook and twitter. Tell us how you feel about things and what is your opinion beacause MK wants to know. Think: MK wants you to rate stuff...songs, shows and whatever is rateable. We have a new rating system. Express your emotions. Watch: Get all information about all your favourite shows. Let us know what you like and what you think. Connect and be part of the shows.

Posters: For each category, Think, Listen, Say and Look. 
Promotional item: As a promotional item 3D glasses are given to the target audience at cinemas with the QR code to download the app, And it focusus on the think category. 
Brochure: The brochure explains what MK social is all about, explaining each category and can scan the QR code to download the app.
