The Humane Society of Bay County was looking for an illustration that reflected their 2023 theme “Home. Forever.” Their goal is to reinforce the idea that pets are living, breathing, beings, that depend on us to live and thrive. They wanted the illustration to help educate people that getting a pet is a lifetime commitment and pets are not commodities.
To illustrate the theme of “Home. Forever.”, I put together some imagery of happy cozy animals sleeping. I wanted to communicate the ideas of safety, security, and happiness through the illustration. The illustration will be used in their 2023 fundraising campaign and will be printed on merchandise such as t-shirts, hoodies and blankets.
