Mosaic is a media sharing company that produces films for the public much like the companies Sony, Warner Bros, Paramount, and Universal Pictures. The company films movies for people of all ages ranging from kids movies to rated R films. Right away, the name Mosaic came to mind because it reflects the purpose of my company. A mosaic is generally a work of art that is made with many small parts, like tiles, that come together to create a whole piece, much like film, and other types of productions. Each frame of a film works together to create a beautiful collage of moving pieces that people watch for entertainment. I then wanted to make the company feel like it was more centered around the production of movies, so I turned the top part of the "i" in Mosaic into a spotlight, and added a film strip to the top of the logo. I went through many different designs and got myself into a bit of a creative block, but overall I'm really proud of how professional and sleek my logo ended up looking and feeling.
